The day is finally upon us: the market begins at 9 AM tomorrow, with all kinds of good food and local products for yourself and the mothers in your life.

Presto Strange O Coffee Truck: Caffeine in all its delectable forms; bagged coffees, too.
Pak Express: Eggs, spring greens and veggie and herb starts.
PV Farmstand: Locally, humanely raised meats.
LeFavorite Bakery: Breads, cookies, pizza strips and pastries, pies, and other delicious baked goods.
Blue Skys Farm: Carrots, spring radishes and greens, herb and veggie starts, Small State seeds.
The Local Catch: Cap’n Rich tells us “Block Island day boat scallops, Block Island Blackfish and many other local fish. David has the smoker all dialed in so you can try smoked Haddock ,Cod this week”.
The Market Table: Local honey from Fruit Hill Apiaries, hot pepper and sweet jams from Terry’s Tasty Treasures, cheese and butter from Rhody Fresh, peanut and almond butters, nuts and trail mixes from the Virginia and Spanish Peanut Company.
gC Farm: Eggs, potted veggies and flowers, spring produce.
Baffoni Poultry: Fresh, hormone and antibiotic-free chicken.
Silk Tree Farm: Goat milk soap (bar and liquid), soy candles, and new this year: goat cheeses!
Wedgewood Flowers: Their usual plants and eggs, plus especially for Mother’s Day, Martha Washington Geraniums, Herb Planters, and pansy and lettuce planters.
And our newest vendor, Apettito Foods will be offering their selection of directly imported olive oils and balsamic vinegars. Stop by and taste.
Our other new vendor, Havav Near East Cafe will be joining us on May 21. Rocky Ledge, Long Entry and Barden Orchard will be coming later in the season as their crops ripen.
The Edgewood Community Garden at Cherry Woods, next to Edgewood Highlands School off Pawtuxet Avenue, still has plots available. Contact garden leader Lisa Gibb at lisagibb2@verizon.net for information.
