For our final food demonstration of the season, Jess Watts of Little Falls Cafe will be preparing some bites with produce from our vendors, and will be featuring cheeses from the Edgewood Cheese Shop as well. Come taste and get some great ideas for using that fresh stuff in new ways.
Boy Scouts from Pack 4 Gaspee will be at the market this Saturday to fundraise for troop activities. Help them out by buying some of their popcorn.
And it’s time for the Annual Taste of Pawtuxet Village, which will be happening on Tuesday September 27, 5:30 PM at the Imperial Room of the Rhode Island Shriners, 1 Rhodes Place. This fun and filling event features food from many village eateries (including the Farmer’s Market), music and a cash bar. Admission is $25. at the door or in advance from Twice Told Tales or Cork and Brew. Proceeds fund the many events hosted by the Friends of Pawtuxet Village.
