Saturday June 10, the market will set up at:
William Hall Library
1825 Broad Street
Cranston, RI 02905
(about 10 blocks north of our usual site, right up Broad St.)
Due to the Gaspee Days Parade, we will make our customary ONE DAY ONLY migration north to the library. We will be on the front lawn so you can’t miss us.
Same great vendors, same great food! So make your way around the parade route to visit us and support your favorite farmers. DO NOT TRY TO GO THROUGH THE VILLAGE! Seek alternative routes to get to us north of Park Ave on Broad St.
The Edgewood Cheese Shop will be joining us with samples of their wonderful cheeses, and great ideas of how you can combine purchases from our farmers with the cheese, condiments and preserved meats they carry at their shop (conveniently located directly across Broad St From the library!).
We will be having a styrofoam collection day in the near future. Our volunteers will take your solid shipping materials (sorry, no packing peanuts!), coolers, take-out containers, cups and bowls and other assorted indestructible styrofoam detritus. They must be clean and unstained, stacked as much as possible, and smaller items must be grouped and placed in clear bags so they don’t blow away. A great opportunity to responsibly dispose of these unwelcome objects without making an equally wasteful trip to the landfill: Penelope and Polly will stuff as much as possible into one vehicle for a maximally efficient recycling foray. Watch this space for the date.
See you at the market.
