GAME RAINED OUT? WE’RE NOT! COME SHOP, TAKE A PLANT WALK

Whatever the weather brings, our vendors will be be here, with fresh greens, eggs, meat, fish, baked goods, locally roasted coffee, honey, cheese and all the other good foods they bring every week. Open your umbrellas and take a stroll; those pizza strips and empanadas won’t eat themselves!

The Honey Shop makes their bi-weekly appearance this week.  Their popular allergy remedies and fire cider mixtures will be available, as well as their other yummy and nutritious products.  Enjoyful Foods will return on May 26.

At 10 AM, a guided walk on the nearby Pawtuxet River Trail will leave from the market welcome tent (red canopy).  Local wild plant enthusiast Sandy Jacobi will identify spring ephemerals (such as this flower of the mayapple, also known, appropriately enough, as the umbrella plant), native species, and those darned invasives.

See you at the market.
