Saturday June 9, the market will set up at:
William Hall Library
1825 Broad Street
Cranston, RI 02905
(about 10 blocks north of our usual site, right up Broad St.)
Due to the Gaspee Days Parade, we will make our customary ONE DAY ONLY migration north to the library.
We will be on the front lawn so you can’t miss us.
Same great vendors, same great food! Plus an appearance with delicious samples by the Edgewood Cheese Shop. So make your way around the parade route to visit us and support your favorite farmers.
Fans of Knead Doughnuts had their patience rewarded last week when the tasty tori were finally available at the Bolt Coffee Company table. Come early and grab one (or more?) on your way to the parade or after competing in the 5K.
Matilda Empanadas will be away the next two weeks (at the PVD and Pride festivals) but we have an old favorite returning to supply your spicy and fresh hot food for lunch on the lawn or to nosh while you stroll: Jamaican Patties with an African twist by Conroy Outar and company (formerly Patois) . They will be serving up the pastry-encased goodies with a choice of beef, jerk chicken or chickpea fillings, and rice bowls with coconut chicken curry.
Finally, our Bonus Bucks coffers have been refilled; SNAP customers, please come to the market welcome table if you need to claim your tokens from last week. Thank you for your patience!
See you at the market.
