The heat wave has brought some blessings: tomatoes are ripening at a great rate, and all our summer favorites are scheduled to make an appearance at Saturday’s market in abundance: zucchini, yellow squash, beans, and eggplant. Some rain would be welcome, though; our farmers have been watering daily to keep the crops growing. Just don’t rain on the market!
