Blue Skys Farm shared this picture of their beautiful crop of lemongrass. This fragrant plant is a staple of Asian cuisine, and is one of the many culinary herbs offered by Sanctuary Herbs, farmer Christina’s venture which gathers products from her own farm and from other local growers (including our own Chang Xiong of Pak Express).
There will be another food demonstration this Saturday. Jess of Little Falls Cafe will prepare a quick, easy and fabulous dinner option: Herbed Chicken and Squash. Ingredients will come from our vendors, so stop by her table to taste a sample, and then DO try this at home!
